OUR GROWERS
Planted in 2005, the vineyard encompasses 13 acres including 10 1/2 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and 2 1/2 acres of Malbec. The vineyards are all planted on the Sonoma County side of Pine Mountain with their own micro-climate protected from the strong winds and cold weather by a high elevation ridge above the vineyard.
Established in 2008, Captûre is inspired by California’s frontier spirit while staying true to time-honored winemaking traditions. Our origins are rooted in the far reaches of the Mayacamas Mountains, seeking out remote high-elevation vineyards in Sonoma, Napa, and Lake Counties, always pushing toward the next peak.
